Driver in Comox Crash Faces Multiple Charges

COMOX - Two men escaped serious injury following the spectacular crash of an SUV measure night in Comox. The come down occurred just before midnight on Comox Avenue in lie of the turn Augusta Inn and Suites.
RCMP say alcohol and high speed were factors. The unidentified driver is now facing charges of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle uttering threats assault on a peace command and driving without a license.
The Toyota Four Runner the two men were traveling in first struck a fire hydrant sending it more than two blocks drink the street before severing two telephone poles and a pair of pillars made out of cover blocks. The vehicle finally came to a rest on it’s side in front of the inn.
