Rodney was the most guileless person John had ever met and he figured as adjectives went that could take the number two spot after 'expressive' because Rodney never got the hang of lying he just went and expressed truth all over the place with word or gesture or just the way he *looked* if you really knew him you could see. Rodney was an open book. Rodney's eyebrows as well really adding to the range of extreme facial expressions which usually accompanied expansive physical gestures because all of Rodney was just one big outlet for the most expressive of all things known to man. Rodney's brain. He couldn't turn it off-- and John never (well rarely) wanted him to-- and everything he could get out came out if not in words in notes or gestures but he kept nothing completely locked away. He wrote a lot down to himself things he didn't share with others but nothing stayed *inside* Rodney and John thought it was because the power of Rodney's thought was too big to be contained by Rodney's brain and he had to fire off thoughts and get things out to make room for the new stuff that was always coming lightning-fast. There were times when Rodney shut down and sometimes people took that at face value but even then when he was most internalized. John could see in through the little windows Rodney left for him and him alone. He never really stopped being expressive. He never stopped being *Rodney* and if John was the only one who could see that all the time well... Actually it was best that way because some of the very expressive parts of Rodney were not up for public consumption.---/-/---FIN =^_^=Anneko
